Insurance Repair Process

    Accident damage occurs.

    (At the accident scene assess the situation and check if anyone requires medical assistance. Report the incident to the police within 24 hours if someone is injured. If other vehicles are involved, get driver and witness details).

    Drop in to J A Ward Panel & Paint for vehicle assessment.

    Normally this takes 5-10 minutes but in some cases we will organise with you to keep the car for a few hours if we need to remove panels to assess damage properly.

    Make a claim with your insurance company and tell them that we will be repairing your vehicle.

    This allows us to deal directly with the insurance company to negotiate the best repair method for your vehicle.

    We contact you to arrange a suitable time to fix your vehicle.

    We will be in touch with you as soon as we have the go-ahead from the insurance company.

    Your vehicle is repaired.

    We can supply you with a courtesy vehicle while the repair is done, and also offer a pick up/drop off service. We will keep you updated throughout the process with a series of text messages letting you know how it is going.
